Luxury Yacht Carinthia VII

This is Carinthia VII, one of the finest yachts in the world. She was designed by Tim Heywood, for Lurssen yachts. Carinthia VII is 97.2 meters long, 15.95 meters wide and does 26 knots on 4 of 9925 BHP engines. The most remarkable thing about this mega yacht is the neat design.
The design must not be confused with that of previous Carinthia named yachts. Carinthia VII has much similarities to other Tim Heywood designs, all big named mega yachts such as Air, Octopus and even Pelorus. Instead of competing for size, Carinthia VII comes with extreme looks and fancy onboard features to go with that.

The SHOQ mode, provides an extra shock insert, which gives the handles the ability to respond to your and the crafts movements. This would lift the weight of the handle off from the rider, giving great agility and the potential for a whole new range of maneuvers.
KART mode, as shown in the picture above, gives a kart style seat and lowered handles, and an overall lower center of gravity for the whole craft. This is excellent for pleasure cruising in smooth waters, and you can ride the watercraft as you would do so a typical kart.
Other modes include KNEE, which is similar to KART but with highier seating, and VERT for extreme stand up rides. Kurt Hughes Multihull (Catamaran and Trimaran) Designs
Kurt Hughes is a common name in sailing designs. His designs are successful simply because he follows the simple rule of the thumb - keeping the solution simple! Complex designs and methods to solve a watercraft problem will ultimately lead to more complex problems. Through many years, boat designers and builders have come up with methods and techniques to solve those problems, and among those techniques are those proven and effective ones. Kurt Hughes designs follow the rule of simplicity, while offering what goes best for challenging water and what goes best in the hands of a sailor.

Kurt Hughes catamarans and trimarans are usually wider, thus providing more safety since a wide multihull will be much more difficult to tip over. Kurt Hughes designs also contain the consistent feature of having long and narrow hulls. It helps the vessels to perform better in rough seas and produce rather smooth sailing experiences. They are also made to carry the lowest possible weight, in effect accomodating for more onboard equipment and easier hull grounding and handling. They also have central cockpit based controls, again making things much easier for sailors and making solo sailing possible on many of his designs.
His power catamaran and power trimaran designs come in a very impressive portfolio. From multihull cruisers to power sailing catamarans. His 60 Bridgedeck is a classic example of incredible timeless catamaran designs. It is 60 feet in length and 60 feet in beam and contain all the ementies expected in a modern class cruising catamaran.
