WindRider 16, Solo Sailing Trimaran
Sailing is not always about luxury cruising and relaxing on a 5 star serviced mega yacht. Sailing is about getting in the sea, feeling the wind, and taking control by yourself. The WindRider 16 trimaran is a small fun sized trimaran built for a single sailor. This is the choice if you want to get down and dirty, taking total control of the sails and feeling the grip as the wind pushes the sail. This extremely light weight yet fully performing trimaran is the perfect choice for solo shore and reef-line cruising. It is 16 feet in length, and 12 feet wide with a sail area of up to 16 square meters - the WindRider 16 will surprise even the most experienced sailor with its speed and downright simple handling. WindRider 16 has won numorous awards and hearts of many fun oriented sailors.
Farrier F-36 High Performance Trimaran
The Farrier F-36 trimaran is a light weight high performance trimaran that comes both in racing and cruising configuration. These are built by Scott and Andy Webster, and they are the perfect pieces of precision workmanship. It is built to be ocean capable, providing the opportunity to experience challenging seas unlike any other in its class - the F-36 has gone around the world as well.
Sailors Paul Van Gysen and Ingrid Craul sailed around the world on their Farrier F-36. They even did it the hard way, by going westbound from South Africa, and then across the Atlantic and into the Pacific through the Panama Canal. They then sailed to to Fiji, New Zealand, Australia and back home to South Africa. In addition to this event, the Farrier F-36 trimarans also made Atlantic crossings, a voyage from New Zealand to Japan.
The F-36 has an onboard 30 hp engine, optional daggerboard and center board, self draining cockpit can accomodate 8 adults, the aft cockpit model can accomodate upto 10 adults. The cabin includes accomodation for upto 8 adults with standing headroom, saloon, private room with shower, double forward berth, and storage.
WindRider Rave Hydrofoil Trimaran
The WindRider Rave is not your ordinary trimaran - it is a hydrofoil! How cool is that! This incredible piece rips through the water like nothing else. Imagine being able to take over personal watercrafts with something without a motor or an engine, the WindRider Rave hydrofoil trimaran does exactly that.
It sails on 3 aircraft grade high performance aluminium wings. Once you set the sails and as speeds pick up, the trimaran simply lifts itself above the water and it does over 30 mph - simply incredible! WindRider is a 17 feet length and 17 feet beam wide super sailor with a total sail area of over 18 square meters. That is enormous wind power for upto 2 sailors on its very tough tri-hulls.
Dragonfly 1200 Swing Wing Ocean Cruiser Foldable Trimaran
Dragonfly 1200 trimaran is a compact, yet feature packed ocean capable cruising trimaran, built for performance and pleasure. It is a foldable and trailable, has an inboard diesel engine, twin cabins, full galley, pressure water, heads and sails with roller furler.
The Dragonfly 1200 trimaran also gives the most demanding sailor the handson flexibility for getting the edge in high winds, and also gives the comfort, a bit more of the latter than other trimarans in its class. The spacious deck accomodation is inviting, thanks to the wider mid-hull, the deck is more spacious than other trimarans, and even wider than single hull sailing yachts of its size. The Dragonfly 1200 is unsinkable.
