Eliminator 300 Eagle XP

This is Eliminator 300 Eagle XP. A distinctive performance speed boat and a product of fine workmanship. Eliminator’s offer provides options for single or twin engines, closed deck and bowrider cabins. It is about 30 feet in length and 102 inches in beam, with 100 gallons fuel capacity and an approximate engine weight of 5,800 lbs. 300 Eagle XP has capacity for up to 8 passengers.

The Eliminator 300 Eagle XP is great for crusing in slight waters. The hull design is more of a sports design than a powerboat design, and this design has a better advantage in rough waters too.

Kelsall KSS Suncat 40

Kelsall KSS Suncat 40
The Kelsall KSS Suncat 40 is a living legend. The model has been proven perfect by many sailors and it has even done Around the World sailing. It is a 40 feet long, 23 feet beam catamaran with capacity for 8 sailors. It has dual outboard engines, a draft of 3.1 feet and a sail area od 840 sqft.

The top priority of the design is performance and this model can do over 200 miles per day in long distance sailing. The weight is kept to a minimum and since speed, performance and agility was a requirement, it is stripped from the luxuries of a multideck cruiser. Instead the spacious yet comfortable and elegant cabin contains sleeping area, toilet, washroom, storage, saloon and kitchen and communications desk.

Overall, the Kelsall is a well-known and well trusted catamaran that is built for none other than performance. It is not an overly luxurious craft, but it was designed for a less threatening budget, with top class sailing performance.

Kawasaki Jet Ski 800 SX-R

Added in Personal Watercraft on the August 24th, 2006

Kawasaki Jet Ski 800 SX-R

The Kawasaki Jet Ski 800 SX-R is probably the most best looking personal watercraft out there. Honestly, almost all the designs look the same. If we compare the design of watercrafts from Kawasaki, Bombardier, Honda and Yamaha we can see that they are nearly 100% identical. Except for the Jet Ski 800 SX-R of course.

It has a more streamlied design and aerodynamic contours. Its futuristic looks is a late departure from the boring standard of personal watercraft design. It probably has the golden ratio in its proportions, the front of the watercraft is proportionally larger than previous designs, and the extra space at the back has been reduced with the seats neatly curved back to the watercrafts rear edge.

As drawbacks, we should note that the Jet Ski 800 SX-R is actually a stand up watercraft. It is considerably smaller than the heavy 3 seaters, and therefore cannot accomodate more than 2 riders. The Jet Ski 800 SX-R has a 782cc engine.

Mirabella V, the Largest Single Masted Yacht / Tallest Mast in the World

Mirabella V, the Largest Single Masted Yacht / Tallest Mast in the World

Mirabella V is a single masted, super luxury sailing yacht. It has the tallest mast in any yacht in the world, the craft itself is huge compared to a big racing yacht. It currently holds the Guinness World Records of the tallest mast and the largest sail.

The yacht is owner by Joe Vittoria, and it is available for charter for upto US$ 275,000 per week. The design was the result of the brainstorming by the designers to combine the luxury of motor yachts and the speed and agility of sailing yachts, in one big yacht. The designers then came up with the single mast solution as it would reduce the hassle at the same time giving extreme and flexible sailing power. To reduce weight the designers chose to use composite boat building materials.

Mirabella Vs mast reaches up to 292 feet (88.5 meters) from water level. When the keel is fully dropped, the draught is 32 feet. The sail is the largest in the world and the size covers 1,833 m2 / 19,730 sp ft. She is 246 feet (75 meters) long (LOA) and 48 feet (14.8 meters) wide (beam) and has a displacement of 740 tonnes when fully loaded.

Luxury Yacht Carinthia VII

This is Carinthia VII, one of the finest yachts in the world. She was designed by Tim Heywood, for Lurssen yachts. Carinthia VII is 97.2 meters long, 15.95 meters wide and does 26 knots on 4 of 9925 BHP engines. The most remarkable thing about this mega yacht is the neat design.

The design must not be confused with that of previous Carinthia named yachts. Carinthia VII has much similarities to other Tim Heywood designs, all big named mega yachts such as Air, Octopus and even Pelorus. Instead of competing for size, Carinthia VII comes with extreme looks and fancy onboard features to go with that.

Carinthia VII is reportedly owned by German billionaire Heidi Horten.

Pelorus, by Lurssen Yachts

Pelorus is probably THE MOST spectacular yacht ever built. It is monstrous, with 115 meters overall length, 17 meters beam and running 5 meters deep. It has the most sophisticated exterior look, that gives its cutting edge characteristics. This mega yacht is built by Lurssen yachts and it was designed by non other than Tim Heywood, who is also the designer for the beautiful Carinthia VII and Octopus.

Pelorus is owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovichh. The yacht contains five star dining, sports centers, diving center, submarines, personal watercrafts, theatre, pool, and everything else you would imagine on a state-of-the-art luxury yacht. The distinct look of Pelorus is its battleship like lines and hull design which is in consistency with the golden ratio. This ratio does work on yacht designs, it is obvious.

Sea-Doo 3D DI Sports Watercraft

Sea-Doo 3D DI Sports Watercraft

The Sea-Doo 3D DI sports watercraft is a fine addition to the already brilliant watercrafts portfolio Bombardier is carrying. Now, this is no ordinary watercraft. This one is very highly customizable, what you can do with is literally unlimited.

First, the MOTO position provides a motorcross bike like shock absorbing seat, you can enjoy challenging waters with less fatigue and for long hours. This mode gives you the ability to go very fast in rough waters in comfort, no more painful bumps.

The SHOQ mode, provides an extra shock insert, which gives the handles the ability to respond to your and the crafts movements. This would lift the weight of the handle off from the rider, giving great agility and the potential for a whole new range of maneuvers.

KART mode, as shown in the picture above, gives a kart style seat and lowered handles, and an overall lower center of gravity for the whole craft. This is excellent for pleasure cruising in smooth waters, and you can ride the watercraft as you would do so a typical kart.

Other modes include KNEE, which is similar to KART but with highier seating, and VERT for extreme stand up rides. It is SHOQ with the shock insert removed, giving all the crafts control to the rider. Over all, the Sea-Doo 3D DI is a truly one of a kind watercraft that truly believes in the concept of adventure!
